I was fortunate to catch a show last night at Bottom of the hill and spend some time with friends. Donovan Quinn and the 13th month(http://www.myspace.com/donovanquinnthe13thmonth ) played a sprawling warm and psychadelic set with moments of spectacular tension and a subtle chaos and chaos for this dude is a damn good thing. Jason(papercuts) sat in on the skins and brought the heartbeat.
I ran into Chris Berry who is the mind behind Soft abuse records which is one of my favorite labels around. He is visiting SF and thinking on moving here. I hope you do brother !
